new Mini series for Serial Killer fans
Cliffs
Denis Nielsen, particularly successful 70s gay serial killer
Portrayed by David Tennant (Dr Who)
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...is-Nilsen.html
Saw the first part last night, i recommend. Similar vibe to Mindhinter, nicely understated. Tennant is identical to Nielsen.
Personally, I’ve been to his addresses a few times (as I have with many notorious murderers) I’ve seen his interviews and read Brian Masters excellent book. His pathology is far more interesting than most serial killers who are often inarticulate dullards.
Not sure how non Brit brahs can get it at the moment, catch up / itv media player ?
Anyway AMA about Nielsen, it’s nice to see one of our most overlooked serial killers get some mainstream recognition finally

These days we’ve seen every type of serial killer fetish there is, but 40 years ago when his crimes came to light the public reaction was complete bafflement, obviously

Instead of crucifying these sick phucks and leaving them out to rot in the sun we make fan movies/shows about them. JFL.

Watched final part.
I think it probably works better if you don’t know much about Nielsen or read the book. The court room ‘drama’ doesn’t really jive when you know what happens.
Very solid drama overall though. 8/10.
