I would have loved to be able to stay home at 18, by 17 I was already being forced to pay the homeowners insurance, and then half the mortgage, then kicked out when the house was put up for sale at 18.

AZN's are doing it smart, giving their kid's time to save up and be concrete moving forward.

Caribbean culture is mostly the same as this; kids dont move out until married or have built a house of their own. We have a strict no-rent culture and it is frowned upon to do so. It's crazy to think about because you look at it through the lens of your own society where kids are out the door for college.
