Help me find a horror/scary movie please!

I have been looking for this movie for a very long time but have had no luck. I don’t remember much from the film but there was one scene that stuck with me.

It must have been an 80’s scary/horror film. The scene I remember is a young dude in a car and there is electricity everywhere as the radio knobs are going crazy. I think a dude comes out of the radio and kills him. If I’m not mistaken the monster travels through radio waves or electricity.

I hope to find this movie. I watched it a lot as a kid and want to watch it again.
