you can bust your ass like my brother does to try to get a promotion only to be faked around with by your boss because you aren't part of the "fraternity" or he have a piss poor attitude.

one of the most important ways to become a success is to gain connections. That means going to social events and all around interacting positively with those that can help you. This will help you with landing a job or running your own business.
