Afraid I may have eaten some rust off a boat today

went down to the shipyard today and saw some appealing looking brown substance on the side of a vessel. thinking it was some caramel i chipped some off, but it was a bit tangy and my tummy was upset after. does anyone know what the effects of eating rust are?

It's fine, you may have a sore tummy since it's your first time but just eat some dirt and it'll fix that.
