Is focusing on your career cope?
"Building an empire" etc... etc...
Does that just translate to "I focus on work and get stuff done because no one wants my ugly ass?"

Yeah, I mean there's a certain level of cope to it. However it feels good to be successful. I'd rather focus on career for like 5 years then have enough money to start doing things that aren't so career focused.

I don't say cringey "build an empire" stuff but I do believe working hard so your kids and family can live well. It's nice to be able to give my grandma money to help with her expenses or help my cousins out. It's more than trying to bag women or anything like that.

Anything can be used as a coping mechanism. Focusing on my career helps me with certain life things. So yes, I use it to cope with things.

Kind of, but it's at least a productive kind of cope. Unless you quite literally make it into at least 1% of income, there's a certain point where the amount of money you make has extremely diminishing returns for people who aren't super materialistic, and it comes with greater stress. My theory on money is once you make above a certain level, your quality of life doesn't improve dramatically until you hit a much higher number, but your stress in the middle part increases a lot more. For example, I'm making 6 figs outside of NYC/SF and can generally do whatever I want and save a ton. More money just means I can buy a few more toys, have more expensive nights out, or save even more, but for me that's outweighed by the fact that I'd also have much more stress in my job to earn my keep. Now, if I made $320K+, which is at or near the 1% of income boundary, that's a game-changing amount of money because I can now afford to do legitimately baller **** like own a $100K car, have a penthouse in the nicest part of the city, fly myself and a hoe out in business class, etc.
PS: People who talk about "hustling" or "building an empire" on social media are usually fking loser. People who're legitimately hustling or "it's always day oneing" aren't posting on social media about it because they're busy as ****.

i think you should just do whatever makes you happy
i know for me, i don't want my life to revolve around a career
so much more to life than just sitting in an office and "careermaxxing"
don't get me wrong ill do my job and do a damn good job, but don't catch me doing anything after 5 for work, or ever on the weekends

Definitely cope. If you don't get pussy you're worthless to civilization, your life has no meaning. Despite me living in my parents basement at 36 and working at Walmart I get tons of pussy from 7+/10 sloots, nothing else matters more in life than getting laid. Anybody who tells you "I'm doing me" "I'm focusing on myself" "I'm building my career" "MGTOW" are virgin losers.

Exclusivelyfocusing on your career is cope. But "focusing on important things in life" - family, friends, meaningful career (assuming you have to work) are all valuable things tofocuson.

Anything that is not working on elevating your wisdom and spiritual strenght is COPE. The only thing that really matters in this world is your inner world and your connection to the higher universal spirits, the rest of "games" we play are nothing but COPE

Cope is a term people on the internet use to justify their own shortcomings by pointing out other's successes and putting them down for them.
This is a great example OP.

They are the true alphas, they're not manipulated by ideology or materialism, they're not brainwashed by idelogy and live in balance with nature. The need nor desire nothing that is not given to them by earth in their imediate realm...

Think about it, there are not depressed, incel, addicted bushmen, only free real people. Not manipulated cucks like firstworlders
