There ain’t no so such thing as a free lunch

TANSTAAFL theory I have been reading about and it’s so painfully applicable to every facet of life.

Example, medical reps have been bringing “free lunch” to my job everyday this week and it’s making me rethink partaking in it. From a simple calorie stand point to the financial repercussions that it brings to the workplace. Most people overeat and indulge simply because it’s free, but gain weight that otherwise they wouldn’t gain and eat moderately. The people use the products of those that provide the food but at the higher cost for patients.

What examples do you see on this ?

I mean any sales rep bringing lunch is trying to influence your decision to go with their product. I did it when I was in sales, it's just a basic way to get people talking and to like you

Of course, sadly it works for most people. I keep on pulling away from it and being very selective of who I speak to.

Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit softly.
