My lake house is on a great lake

It's a shame they trashed those lakes so bad. Wouldn't eat or drink anything from that lake

Brb plug nuclear reactor into water desalination plant = unlimited drinking water from the ocean.

Worlds leading engineers: this is to hard. Lets let people die from water shortages instead.

This whole "water shortage" myth on a planet that's mostly water is the biggest ponzi scheme ever.

At some point people will come for you. They're not going to care if Mr.Goldstein owns water rights, they will take it by force.

Pretty sure nestle wanted to buy the rights to water in 2019. Yes you heard that right. Nestle wants to own American water. Even rain water that falls in America would be there's.

I've lived in CA for 30 years and we've heard about draughts EVERY YEAR.

WE LIVE NEXT TO AN OCEAN.

Can't believe other places have figured out desalination plant and we're still bitching about dams and aqueducts.

Grew up 10 minutes from lake erie (ironically also live in the springs area) and you're dead on. They took their vast freshwater source for granted.

They're already a dollar and they have to guard the fields with guns to prevent the cartel from cucking them will only be a matter of time.

Countless societies have fallen exactly like this, due to resource scarcity. Still, we are never able to override our instincts and come up with some sort of equitable distribution. This one guy even took DRASTIC measures to find a solution.

10 times out of 10, Mr. Sheckelstein would rather watch the world burn than sacrifice profitability. Goes to show, what's the point of living if you aren't MOGGING every dude around you?

To some degree, People aren't going to do things for free and it takes money to harness resources why do you think places like Africa have no clean drinking water they don't have the money to gather the resource to build let alone operate a filtration plant. Here in america people already own the water and we pay for it but I'd rather have them own it and pay them for it so they can use the money to maintain facilities to provide me clean drinking water but life is 100% about mogging other people sure you need to have fun and what have you but if you're letting this life pass you by and not bossing up and creating generational wealth so one day your family can control the world like the soros and bill gates of the world you're wasting your life and your blood line will soon disappear forever.

I'm tired right now, so I might have this wrong, but aren't commodities traded on COMEX in Chicago?

And how would you even move the kind of volume a buyer like California needs? The Southeast has too much water for its own good, but there is no cross country pipeline to move any of it out west.

Do you realize most of the Earth's water/Ocean levels will be drastically low and at fatal levels LONG before the Sun's atmosphere swallows us whole? Not in a couple of billion years, not even 1.

While animals argue and fight about useless sh*t the end continuously draws near. We have to get off this planet, that is the ONLY goal that matters. Not race, not religion, not even humans rights, if we are not off this planet and colonizing outside our solar system everything you see now or have seen is all gone forever, lost without any other species to witness what happened, for all eternity.
