So for about a week now I'll randomly get this super hot sensation on the top of my foot. Feels like someone's pouring warm water on the top of my foot on the outside by my ankle. Not painful at all, just a super hot sensation in this one area out of the blue.

The sensation lasts 30 seconds tops. It happens maybe under 5 times a day but the past 2 days it's gotten worse and now the area feels numb as fuark today after work.

Of course when you Google it, it basically says

1-diabetes
2-nerve damage
3-heart can't pump blood from legs properly.
4- blood clot,

The typical results when you Google health issues. Google always has you thinking you're dieing or have a disease.


Only things different in my life are

1- just started working again after 3 months off
2- new shoes
3- havent been working out for 6 weeks


I'm going to go to the Doctor in a few days if it's not better, not looking for medical advice, just curious if any of you brahs have ever had this sensation before and if it went away or whatnot?

Its probably nerve impingement in your low back. Try doing some lumbar decompression stretches and whatnot. Plenty of youtube videos. If it was diabetes related, you'd probably have bilateral issues, but you arent wrong to consider it though. That's usually the first thing you bring up when having nerve issues in the feet (but it's usually numbness and tingling when diabetic related)

Edit: Hot flashes are endocrine system/hypothalmus issues . You have a nerve issue

I had the exact same thing a few months ago, it was in my left calf and felt like warm water being poured over it.

It did that maybe for like 1-2 weeks then went away.


I was bike riding for the first time in a long while so I hope maybe i stretched it weird or some chit and its not a nerve issue. But yeah the list of possible causes when you google it were pretty concerning

Had a similar thing before with my hand. All the sudden 1 finger would be much hotter than all the rest. Last a few minutes and go away. My doctor thought I was a retard. One day it happened and i took a picture with my FLIR camera and legit finger was hotter than everything else. I showed my doctor and he just bert stared me. Had some other weird neurological **** going on too but pretty much all cleared up after the stroke.
