The argument behind locking down is as much to prevent spread as it is to manage the ill and not overwhelm hospitals


Just thought up this idea, that. Probably Should have been started months ago


Massive covid-only goverment funded and run dedicated hospitals should be created

No intermixing patients and people spreading scared to go to regular hospitals

Greater capacity to handle greater cases allowing open up

Maybe this is because i dont have hope for a vaccine

Germany japan everywhere opening is getting the second wave, pretty badly. This really doesnt bode well. Tons of businesses and individuals really getting hammered and further lockdowns will destroy more and more

Need to take further steps

1. The vast majority of Covid cases do not require medical treatment. People are sent home to rest.

2. The vast majority of hospitals are not overwhelmed. Actually when Covid hit and hospitals quit allowing visitors, people stopped going to the ER for nonsense, etc. hospitals lost a ton of business. To the point where nurses were being laid off. There is a reason why so many nurses were able to make tiktok videos in relatively empty hospitals.

3. You're talking about a long term undertaking and a massive expense for a short term issue.



Everyone I know that caught Covid said it was like having a mild cold for a couple of days. Most of them stayed home but went about daily life as usual.

The UK government did this. They are called 'Nightingale Hospitals' after Florence Nightingale. There's 7 of them with a total of about 10,000 potential extra beds for covid patients.

They were all virtually or actually empty and some were used for other purposes, others have been put 'on standby'. The reason for this is that it's not a genuine, serious, dangerous pandemic on the scale every institution would have you believe, it's a total farce. Or, if you have an extra chromosome it's because the lockdown worked so well.

Also, there is no second wave. I'm going to have to start negging you retards who repeat this nonsense.

It takes years to build hospitals

Most hospitals that were shut down for non-emergency care and otherwise being used exclusively for covid patients were half empty with most staff put on suspension during the first wave, which is usually the highest point of infection.

Repurposing existing buildings doesn't take that long.

This idea would have merit if hospitals were overflowing with COVID patients, but that was just a story pushed by MSM.

Clinics and hospitals are overflowing right now, but not with COVID, rather people wanting their toe pain, skin rash , back pain , overdue elective procedures etc. addressed.

It is worth mentioning that we also tried this, if you recall we used large Navy ships and sent them to hot regions. We also setup large field type hospitals with Army medical units in other land locked hot spots. The results were that they remained empty (I believe our unit saw 1 or 2 people and it was more for practice).

IMO we don't need a vaccine, we don't need more medical facilities, we just need to re-educate people that this disease is not the harbinger of death it was originally pitched and sold to be by the MSM.

I suspect this won't happen for several reasons, primarily because (1) it is a good talking point/leverage point for certain political leaders to use against their colleagues; (2) admitting you were wrong after causing catastrophic economic damage could be fatal to your legacy and career as a politician (3) most political leaders appreciate the perceived power and control that is provided to them when the masses are afraid and (4) there is no way GSK/Merck/insertbiopharmacohere can sell a vaccine to millions or billions of people if people stop believing it won't kill healthy family of 6 or at least put them on ventilators.

Pretty sure there was a Navy ship docked in NYC back in April for the sole purposes of holding and treating covid patients and not one patient was ever brought over there, lol.

It's clearly not that serious or this would have been used first and foremost, not as some backup plan as hospitals filled.

Not to mention there wasn't one news story posted of an outbreak other hospital sections that weren't designated for covid..... so OP = retard.
