Why does everyone default to CNN when someone prefers to read the news?

I subscribe to the times and wsj and read a variety of other publications regularly, the Atlantic, Harper's, the national review are my top.

What I don't do is watch potato YouTube videos who have zero credibility nor any journalistic standards.

I prefer to draw my own conclusions and not be fed them in a slick digestible video form.
