For guys in real relationships. Name one thing you love/hate about your partner.
Things you love about her as a person. None of this "she's a good mother" chit. Qualities that drew you to her.
Thing I love.
She's very hard working, and ambitious. Takes great pride in doing a good job at whatever she does.
Thing I hate.
Can be impatient as fuk with literally everyone. Srsly..Calm down, take a breathe and get through it.
The thing I hate is a double edged sword, because sometimes her bs meter is extremely accurate.
Your turn *******s...Oh, and happy monday.

Happy Monday!
One thing I love: her deep empathy and ability to understand people - root causes - very quickly. Not get caught up in someone's momentary temper tantrum. It makes her very resilient in toxic work environments, etc.
One thing I "hate": I don't use that word often, brah - it's a strong emotion that I don't really ever feel. Or haven't in decades. But something I dislike: maybe that she tends to frequently believe in underlying issues in people, and sometimes I find it much easier just to say "Yeah, the person who wrote that e-mail to you is a dikk. Doesn't matter if he's having a bad day cuz X, he shouldn't write to people that way, end of." If you see what I mean.
I'm really lucky though - as I type out this post she yelled out "I love you!" from her home office in another room, hah.

Can i comment even though i am single? When i was in a relationsip with my oneitis of 6-7 months.Really good thread OP.
Thing i loved:
Her energy. She was always buzzing around, always giggling, smiling, and really hyper. Always elevated my mood and everyone else's mood around her.
One thing i hated:
extremely immature

I love how he throws himself completely into any stupid mad scheme I have decided we need to do next. Disneyworld, murder mysteries, orchestras, rallys Etc.... He usually hates dealing with people but will fully embrace the usually very loud and crowded setting I have put us in.
I dislike how he feels the need to ‘hint’ at me for chit that he knows that I haven’t forgotten. He doesn’t just come out and say it in earnest, he just inserts little hints in our conversations. Drives me fukking batty.

Love: Her thoughtfulness, kindness, and attention to detail.
Hate: Very hard on herself, negativity she puts on herself which leaks over to other things.

Recent ex of 3 yrs. . .
Pro's:
Good hearted person. Eternal optimist. Patient, non-judgemental. Always looking for the bright side of things, and for new adventures.
Con's:
Always had massive FOMO around what her friends (mostly single) were doing. . . like going out to bars, brunch, clubs, etc. This is eventually what drove us apart.

Based on a previous relationship, currently on GOAT single screw
Love: Always had the best intentions with everything she did, for myself, family, and friends. She wanted to be liked by everyone and would get along with people. She was also very carefree and willing to try new things, as well as suggest things for us to do.
Hate: Never fully trusted me with anything I did, she had an ex who was massively unfaithful to her so I was held against that standard, which was unfair to me. She also never let me have my "alone" time which is when I ground my thought processes and level myself out. I always needed to communicate 24/7 what I was feeling because of the whole trust thing and almost wanted to think for me, which bothered me.
Then another one for some depth
Love: Always called out everyone for their chit, including my own. Was never afraid to bash heads to get to the bottom of things, and had the same humor that I did. We kind of had the same personality, and made crude jokes, took charge, and we both lifted.
Hate: Continually threatened me with some blank statement to influence my decision. 'I'll kill myself" or "I'll tell your school, family, coach, friends, work, etc". I would always call her out on her bluff's because I don't respond to threats or violence, which would get her even more mad at me.

Love:
Family oriented, isn't afraid to get dirty, college educated, good with money, not afraid to speak her mind....to anyone, I trust her 100%, relatively concerned with health/fitness.
Do not Love:
Lacks motivation sometimes, hides food from me, would rather nap than do physical activity, currently has C-19, sometimes is too accommodating to what I want, nags like a MF.

Love - generous, patient, cares about things that I don't like insisting we get family pictures if we go somewhere, which is something i tend to not bother with but would regret down the road
Dislike - difficulty making decisions and relies on me a little too much for some things. has zero interest in ever being on time...for anything....ever. I on the other hand cannot stand being late

Love that she is disciplined and hard working, when she has her mind set on doing something she will more than likely accomplish it.
I hate that she talks so damn much. She can go on for 20+ minutes multiple times during the day. I get annoyed, overloaded with information and eventually start thinking about what would happen if I got ambushed by a ninja.

Things I love about him most:
- he's very handsome (to me)! He's financially smart. And he's a total family guy, he involves me in everything he does.
Thing I don't like about him:
Like opie's wife, impatient AF with everyone bordering on being rude to others. I'm like O_o...
FWIW, I feel like I've found a solution to this. Stop doing things with him where he's too impatient and it's happened more than once. For example, he can't drive worth chit without cussing half the people on the road during a 10 minute drive. Now I refuse to sit in his car and will drive myself or meet him there in two separate cars.

Love:
Loyalty. My wife thinks that I am the greatest man alive. I absolutely am not, but she thinks that and treats me that way. I’ve even had her friends comment about it.
Hate:
Her parents. Very easy choice for me. They are degenerate gamblers who have lost everything. None of their family will help them so I am the one providing a home for them by letting them live with us. They walk around my house smiling and laughing like they don’t have a care in the world. It drives me insane!

Love: She's extremely competent, motivated, and confident, just a person who's admirable and easily able to manage her own life and get things done. It's extremely attractive to me to see someone who's just GOOD at so many things. She's also beautiful and has lovely fashion and aesthetic sense, is extremely muscular and fit. She's highly intelligent and curious, a collector of facts (she's a scientist and genuinely passionate about her field and other fields). She also has a fun and very silly sense of humor and makes wonderful puns. Finally, she's thoughtful and caring and empathetic toward people, animals, and even plants.
Hate is a strong word, and I would NOT say that I hate anything about her, but we had a discussion last night about how I sometimes feel as if she doesn't communicate enough of her needs and emotional issues. She has some trouble verbalizing emotional things. That can be difficult for me because I interpret it as her being mad at me (it's usually not that, that's just my insecurity). I also wish she would let me do more for her; her coping mechanism is to withdraw and do everything on her own instead of asking for help. We talked about that too and she's going to push herself to ask for more help with things.
One thing I also dislike, not about her, but her sister. She has a twin sister who is extremely cruel to her, either refusing to speak to her at all or making snide, sideways remarks insulting her. I have no idea why. There is some history there, but my girlfriend has tried to mend things and her sister simply refuses to reciprocate.

Its just how she is, shes a social butterfly and gets anxious when she hasn't had anyone to talk to all day. I told her maybe she should start calling her friends. She's known from the beginning that I really don't like talking that much but still tries to force words out of me lol.
Me trying to be "social".
How was your day?
Her - "Talk about the kids, her breaks, people at work who I have no clue about, talks about her job like I work in the same office and understand all her business lingo". This continues on for God knows how long. At this point Im pissed
Her - "So how was your day?"
Me - Pretty good, went by quickly. The end lol
