Here's the thing, there is a misconception that the FFL will no longer accept "felons" or "criminals". I call bullchit, here's factual evidence to the contrary, if indeed this man deserted the us military, he would've been flagged through interpol. That said, if the FFL does interpol checks as they say they do, they blatantly disregarded the information found there, gave this man a contract and a new name.
