Everybody always was telling me "post your resume on indeed haha!", so I did. You can't upload your actual resume on there, but rather take your info and put it into their pre-made template.
Received exactly two messages soon after signing up- one for a call center job, another for a position in a far away state that I was uninterested in relocating to. Since then, nada.
A good chunk of the jobs on there are either temp agencies or some other scammy type thing- "150k work from home opportunity!" type garbage
unless i'm missing something, seems like the site isn't that great. I understand that the market it total chit rn but, holy fuk

Indeed is the biggest job site in the country lol if you aren't getting results, the problem is your resume/lack of action taken, not Indeed

yeah
if I apply for like 5 jobs on there.. I usually get at least 3 interview offers
other fields probably are harder to get noticed but..

I have had better results with Linkedin..as it has more executive level jobs..whereas indeed is flooded with low skill jobs as well.
what i used to do is apply for jobs on linkedin then message the HR or relevant team heads about my application from same company...much much higher response rates.
resume ---> volume apply to 10s or 100s of jobs -----> drop direct message to key employees on linkedin for some of those jobs ---------> schedule interviews --------> get job offers ---------->profit?
job hunting is a marathon, you learn lot of things about yourself and humans in the process..dont give up and keep at it.
