U.S. Navy SEALS go full into cuck-mode

Navy SEALs go gender neutral: References to 'brotherhood' and 'man' are removed from its official ethos to include more gender neutral terms such as 'warrior' and 'citizen'



Naval Special Warfare spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Matthew Stroup said: 'The previous versions of the SEAL Ethos and SWCC Creed were written prior to the law allowing women to serve as operators in Naval Special Warfare.'

Stroup added: 'The changes do not in any way reflect lowering standards of entry, rather they ensure that all those who meet the requirements to train to become a SEAL or SWCC are represented in the ethos or creed they live out.

I don't get why because there has never been a single female navy SEAL, ever. I think only a few have gotten past the initial screening but dropped right after.

I demand we changefeminism to accurately reflect that men can be such as well. The term needs to encompass both sexes and not just females. Since feminism is equality between both sexes

Dozens of women have graduated from Ranger School. I personally know of one and she is an absolute animal. Several have graduated RASP II - there is currently a female PL in 3/75 rn. Rangers, as in the 75th are indeed SO if you mean special operations. Not sure where you get the notion they aren't unless I read that wrong.

I didnt know there were dozens. I just remember the first 3 that made it. I KNOW they got second third and fourth chances where as i would have gotten a Day one or even a DNR. And yeah i meant actual SO assessment and selection (across the branches)... Q course/SFAS, BUDS, MARSOC (whatever they call their selection), PJ etc

This is actually a good idea. The main issue isn't women being chit soldiers, it's mixing the sexes in one unit.

I feel like using the term "warrior" is really cheesy. First of all, it sort of extols war itself. And war is when you have run out of solutions. I like "peacekeeping forces", "operatives", "agents", etc. They should really use the word "defender" or "guard", but the truth is the US military mainly exists for attacking and not defending. Second of all, it creates images of some medieval era dude with a sword or axe rushing at you. It's hardly the same thing. It just sounds really stupid imo. Hurr durr I is a warrior. Hurr durr. Warfighter sounds better, but even that is just making it sound like they only exist for the purpose of war. Special forces agent or operative sounds much more professional. Words like warrior are cringe af. The word soldier carries with it some dignity and modernization as well and evokes different pictures than "warrior". Airman, soldier, sailor, etc all sound better than "warrior". Words like servicemen and servicewomen also emphasis the importance that the military exists to SERVE the people. These are good words to use imo.

They aren't overrated, but they're the most braggards I've ever seen. I've never seen a Delta, MARSOC guy talk about his achievements like SEALs do. Spetsnaz is another level of Russian insanity. They're Special Ops group is even called "Alfa Group"
