Ever notice that some people take hobbies very seriously?
When I’m out on a run or cycling, I always lol at the people decked out head to toe in professional clothing. If it weren’t for their large midsections, wrinkled dull looking skin and poor hair quality, it would be very easy to confuse them for sponsored athletes.
What makes people spend large amounts of money on their hobbies when they should just stick to FB? Same can be said about those Glampers and other weekend warrior types.
Also noticed a lot of these people are on the shorter side.

"The manlet is a savage beast that knows no moral bound. After falling in disgrace to a manmore, a ravaged manlet would not hesitate to come from behind and land a sucker punch/ swing with a rock to the back of a manmore's head. They are ruthless and you need to spend some more time in the gutter to even begin trying to comprehend what goes on in their minds."
Hurt by the aleeboy and need to cope? Go here for hugs: https://forum.obnoxiousbrutes.com/showthread.php?t=178724011

Pointed this out to the wife while passing a golf course the other day.
Just LOL @ anyone intent on leisurely whacking a ball around a field, but takes the time to change into business casual clothes before they do it.

I have seen the same. I’ve played a lot of tennis in my lifetime. There is nothing like seeing a 3.5 (average player) decked out in full Nadal attire carrying a 12 racquet bag. Then watching him struggle just to Keep the ball in play for more than two shots.
Meanwhile, the former college/pros (played D1) are just wearing random mismatched clothes because they don’t stink. He shows up with two racquets, a can of ball, and a bottle of water.
I love walking into the court next to these guys and start hitting. 10/10 they pack up and leave in 10 minutes. Happens every time.

People like Op are boring and have nothing going on in their lives so they point and laugh at people who take their hobbies serious but then gets jealous when said person happens to be so good at the hobby they become rich. Imagine if Michael Jordan never took basketball serious. Imagine if Mike Tyson never took boxing serious.
So tell us op, what are you good at? Do you take anything seriously or are you just the stereotypical wageslav barely getting by?

To each their own, I rode my bike the other day in a wife beater and cargo shorts. I was the oddball b/c everybody else on the trail was wearing high end cycling stuff, whatever floats their boat, just doing cardio and riding my bike is pretty enjoyable.

Same thing happens at a sporting clays shotgun course. Some people show up with a $2000 shotgun and $500 worth of gear. I'm shooting a $400 shotgun and have $20 worth of gear, and still score better than the others. I know a guy that shoots a $200 shotgun with no gear, and he beats me.

Some people think that better gear automatically makes them better, which is sometimes a bit true but you still have to develop the skill.
