oh - the workers will get fired, but the feds will save the companies. its the American way.
“The Misc. is a stone-faced Uncle Sam with Popeye’s forearms and a cocked pistol in each hand. It’s a screeching bald eagle with a foreign Bad Thing in its talons. It’s everything that defines America’s bro culture, magnified and weaponized. But it’s deeper than that.“

Yeah she got the CERB (2000$ a month) but its not enough to support a 5 people household.Liquidate their stocks and bail their own asses out. they have billions in their own stock. They are just trying to scam the people out of their hard earned money. They should be held accountable for their mismanagement and sub par service.
Also stock does not equal instant money. They might have linked the retirement funds of many employees into their stock and a stock collapse might hurt millions of folks who depend on those stocks for their retirement.
Sub par service? You pay for the service you want to get.
The government created this mess so its their job to bail them out. If they wont bail them out then lift lockdown restrictions and let people travel wherever the hell they wanna go.

Airlines have spent decades buying all their own stocks back at the cost of billions....
Not my problem.
Faster people are starving on the street the sooner we can overthrow this corrupt system of debt slavery

You live in such luxury that you're ready to lose everything for a system that you perceive as better. Stop demonizing folks that live with their parents into their mid 20's, stop spending like crazy and limit the power of government and watch as things normalize. However wishing that people starve is an evil thought. I wouldn't want my worse enemy to starve to death.

While that sucks, we can't bail out everyone in the country. We need to stop spending money on bills to prop up any industry.
Try just opening up everything and they won't need a bailout.

Mindblown at the miscers who think forced shutdowns by the govt = air industry mismanagement. Most profits are paid out as dividends, it is illegal to hold rainy day funds (provisions) without justification at this point in time (I think this is something that might be altered in the post covid era based on net profit and wage expenses). Show me one person who could have predicted this worldwide shutdown with absolute certainty and therefore created a viable provision.
You either force the lockdown and bail the staff out for the duration of it or let businesses trade normally in a non locked down environment.

Airlines need to cut a lot of overpaid union dead weight, and this is a perfect opportunity to do it while being able to blame government. There are still too many 50+ year old ladies working as flight attendants. GTFO and get someone younger in there who has a nice ass and will work for $20/hr

Imagine preaching against socialism like a good miscer but not making these greedy fukks raiseprivate fundsleveraged against their assets. If it's too much, go out of business and someone will buy it the next day srs.
The demand for air travel is never going away, which is why they always get away with fleecing us so hard.

They'll lay off 50k even with another bailout. The only difference would be every C level executive would get a fat bonus.
