A gay player got called gay by an opposing player, teammates cried and strutted off the field in protest.

they forfeited a game a week or two ago too because someone supposedly made a racial slur mid-match

The only time I was ever uncomfortable with trash talk was one time in basketball we were playing and a couple of the opposing players started talking chit with the "******* ass white boy" "we're gonna get your ass in the parking lot" type chit when me, 2 of my teammates and our coach were the only white people in the packed out gym. I was worried there for a little bit lol

Lol what a *******. No way this is real. I've played soccer my whole life and nothing like this has every happened where teams protest or walk off. We would usually fight or talk chit back.

Lol I've had guys purposely try to break my ankles, grab my nuts and squeeze hard as possible on corner kicks, etc. Everyone calls each other the most racist chit possible. If we play a mexican team my mexican buddies told me things to say so I can fuk with them.

God dammit soccer is so fukking gay now. American soccer through college and mens leagues are (well...now "were") actually some of the few places in the world that actually play hard and legit soccer. Otherwise it is a bunch of diving, whining, and now this gay fukking chit. What fukking pussies.

If I was on that team and they started doing that I would tell them all to fuk off and grow a pair. Would not end well.

if a white player made a racial slur against a black player on the field in the middle of a game an American sport it would get national coverage and be all over twitter and social media


as for soccer story, why didn't the person who made the slur if was that big of a deal, just get suspended from the game? ending the entire game is just lol, it made the San Diego team look worse than whoever they were facing, homophobic slur or not
