College grads earn $30,000 a year more than people with just a high school degree.

Ah hem....

ACKTUALLY....

The government (tax payers) paid for my college tuition three times over.

I have two degrees, working on my third. Not only zero debt, but not a single personal cent spent on books, or even food while in college.

(In b4 people who support trump using every legal method possible to avoid taxes complain about me doing the same thing for college).

Yeah man, it was expensive. On the bright side, it paid off and I'm pretty much set for life. I can agree that the education wasn't worth what I paid, but the piece of paper and letters after my name gave me all kinds of opportunities post-grad.

I went to community college and transferred to a state school. minimal debt. now i'm doing my MBA at a larger school, but still relatively cheap tuition, plus my current employeer will reimburse me for about 35% of the tuition. the rest i'll be able to pay off with the difference i make from my next career step after graduating.

If you’re aesthetic and socially nonretarded there’s literally no reason not to go to college for the party experience

If none of the above then yeah you may as well go to trade school or work your way up the management chain at McDonald’s

No academy for me, but I still performed well enough to get branch choice (aviation) over academy grads.

Short story,

I was working on my bachelors after my first enlistment (my first contract was for six years, small 6k, and E-3 out of the gate incentive).

While in college I participated in extra curricular activities that brought me to D.C. where I had exposure to academy students.

They were so ****ing proud of what “they have done”.

Don’t get me wrong, it is impressive to get into, and be able to participate in those institutions.

But here I am, a combat veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan, watching 18 year old kids whose parents still pay their phone bill, and moving to the dorms is the hardest thing they ever done, fist bump each other because someone brought up Iraq.

Just lol. They don’t even know what branch they will get into, let alone if they will actually finish the academy.

Strong mental gymnastics

It’s pretty much implied if you’re aesthetic/social you were slaying in high school. University is just leveling up in that regard with independence and having your own place

Also you likely come from a well off family who will pay for your degree if you have a chad tier bloodline.

College isn't about what you learn, it's about who you meet. That's why Ivy League schools and other top tier schools cost $$$. Because you meet the right people there (e.g. Bill Gate's son etc.)
