Pull ups question (69k reps)

Moving to a new apartment.. My workout routine for the past month has only been weighted pullups and their variations, like 200+ a day to see what kind of gorilla chimp gains I can get.. I need to install a good pull up bar in my new place that is stable and can handle lots of weight..

My question is should I get a power tower like first pic, or a wall mounted one like the 2nd pic?

My only issue with the power tower is that it doesn't look very stable, especially if you're doing weighted pull ups.. But if it is good I'd rather have it because you can do dips and other chit as well..

Also don't know how to install the wall one, can just see a youtube tutorial though.. Are there types of walls that can't handle one and how complicated is it? (don't really live in a hut in zimbabwe, have real walls)..

Power tower bro.

Power tower.

Reasoning: Renting at new apartment? Probably shouldn't install something so heavy into your wall, you'd need to hit studs and this will give you a hell of a time.

This, wall mounts fail and can cause damage.

Power tower with weights on the base for stability is the best route.

Power tower and make a wooden frame base platform underneath so you can bolt it down to there and level it.

i have a mounted one. then again it's secured with 8 thick screws that are 10 inches long.
and it's drilled into a concrete wall. the only way it's coming out, is if the entire wall comes out.

but walls are made of different materials so i can't tell you what you should go for.
i personally love my wall mount. looks cleaner, doesn't take up space etc.

Spot sold to studfinder. No more knocking on your walls and hoping you have the right spot

Wall mount is more stable but i would DEFINITELY clear that with your landlord first though

Honestly bro (srs) are pull ups that important to you? These gym equipment can’t rival an actual commercial gym pull up rack. Just the thought of these bars breaking and landing wrong on your back gives me pain. I wouldn’t risk my back. Just go to a park and use one of those steel bars
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

I strangle my tenant if they drilled that chit into my wall. If you own the apartment then do what you want but if you're renting its a terrible idea
