Laugh my ass off every time uber eats asks if I want to tip my driver. The app already adds $3 to $4 on to the menu cost of each item compared to if you ordered directly from the restaurant, in addition to a delivery fee of $6 to $8. Then they ask for a tip on top of that. ROFL. You'd end up paying $80 for a $50 meal.

I usually add another $1 at most to these delivery orders, but otherwise not a chance in hell I'd pay anymore. The only time I've even considered this was the three times in the last 24 months that I was too hungover to leave the couch.

Only difference being is that your groceries actually arrived.

Yeah. I delivered food in hs and college. Sh*t beats up your car. And I enjoy the service they provide. 4-$5 isn’t much.

I tip, because a. I don't want them phucking with my food and b. I may be wrong, but I think that might be the only money they get. Pretty sure they don't get any of the delivery fee.
It does kind of suck how much ends up getting added between delivery fee + tip though. Some places even have a processing fee on top of those two things.
