Nick Cave and Warren Ellis musical partnership - never talked about

People won't shut up about the Lennon/McCartney and Gilmour/Waters musical partnerships as being legendary, but you never hear the Cave/Ellis partnership being mentioned. They absolutely deserve to be up there. These guys have been writing music for decades with the Bad Seeds.

This video was released recently. Absolutely haunting and heartbreaking arrangement of this song. Haven't been moved this way by a musical performance in a really long time. I can only imaging how thrilling this must have been to be there in person inside the opera house.

I loved Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds 90s stuff for sure.
Was always pretty dark material e.g. Red Right Hand, Into my Arms etc.

Def agree they didnt get anywhere near the credit they deserve.

In the past few years, he rapidly became one of my favorite artists. Skeleton Tree was heart-wrenching. Then he released Ghosteen secretly, and that one was even more haunting.
