If you have enough weights which it appears that you do, they should be fine
obviously grip and some of your smaller muscle groups may tire out first before you hit failure on bigger muscle groups though, which IMO is the main shortfall of dumbbells for certain exercises.

That's what I do, but not having a bench sucks boyo. Doing dumbbell floor presses is pretty much impossible with any type of weight, but I may be retarded.

yes as long as u have a bench too, I already had a dumbbell set back before quarantine started and ordered adjustable bench right before gym closed and first few weeks of quarantine figured out how to basically hit everything using mainly the dbs and bench, was glad I got the bench which I didn’t have before since majorly expanded what I could do vs dbs alone. also already had a door pull-up bar and acquired some other items like a cheap dip rack from amazon but mostly the dumbbells and bench were enough to keep me going, obviously the main weakness is legs since weight is limited but I tried to kinda make up for that with more volume

Here’s how to load it:
- Do it single arm and have something you can stabilise your body with other arm (wall, desk)
- position Db on ground in line with where you’ll be pressing it
- grab Db with hand you’ll be pressing with underneath, your other hand holding the Db grip from on top and throw your opposite leg towards the dumbbell
- simultaneously push with bottom hand, row with top hand and rotate leg back to where it should be, you are moving leg for leverage/momentum.
- now you are on back with Db in air, stabilise on wall and proceed to floor press

You could workout with only 20lb DBs and still look better than 99% of the population SRS

need a bench. add a pull up bar and you could get some pretty solid workouts in.

I just need a back exercise, i cant buy 300lbs worth of weights considering they’re going for $3/lb
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.
