The absolute state of the US Army in 2020

The amount of time we waste in the Army on EO and diversity type training is nuts. 23 years in and i'm 119 days from retirement, can not wait to get the hell out of this organization.

Look man, very few peoplereallywant to join the army. And to the few people that do, power to you.

We all know the army does everything they can to enlist new recruits and anybody who has been down on their luck and talked to a recruit knows exactly how persistent the army can be.

The army's target demographic is the young person at a cross roads in life, and so they often need to do things that align with the interests of the current youth.

So it makes perfect sense that they are trying to pull from the widest selection of candidates, because they are ALWAYS recruiting. No matter what. And given that less, and less people DESIRE to enlist, it certainly makes even more sense that they're going to encourage themselves to "diversify their portfolio" so to speak.

Ive said it many times here but I'll say it again, the reason leftist do not attack the military anymore is because they have embraced cultural marxism.

If you look at the targets this year, municipal police departments and NASCAR, youre looking at the few remaining organizations or institutions in america that havent begged the knee. Now that they got NASCAR doing gay little parades at their whim for "hate crimes" that never even happened, they know they have complete control. If you dont bend the knee, they will endlessly attack until you give in.

The flag officers at the top care a hell of a lot more about getting a cushy VP job at some defense contractor after they retire that pays 500k a year than they do about maintaining american culture and tradition in the armed forces so they bent the knee like 10+ years ago.

It's all word salad with no real evidence showing that "diversity is our greatest strength".

I get what youre saying but you could look at their numbers 20 years ago and Im sure they had plenty of "diversity" back then in their recruitment even without mandated annual dont rape people training and workplace celebrations of every LBGTQ, female, hispanic, black, asian ect month. Every month is some official endorsement of non straight white male celebration, IDK how they even managed to fill all 12 months but it seems like they have.

It goes past just recruitment efforts at this point into cultural marxist indoctrination.

I feel ya brah. That way in academia and most every other organization out there. "We want you to feel uncomfortable about this discussion"...no, you want us to quit/retire because most people I know now want to GTFO.

There will always be a need for the red shirts unfortunately, and that's part of the reason why the army recruits so hard.

IMO, letting women into the army is theoretically a good thing. Peterson has often made allusions to Scandinavian countries that are "more equal" and how that almost always seems to encourage more women into femininity and men into masculinity.

Problem is I think we are forcing the square peg into the round hole in our attempts to do it and we should look more toward those Scandinavian models.

Do not re-enlist.

Do not do it.

Don't let them get you.

You aren't wrong but the issue is that 95% of women don't sign up for red shirt roles and the out of the 5% that do only .1% of them can pass the physical tests unless you lower the standards

All this Diversity stuff is just a way to make it easier to recruit kids from chitty areas. Same thing why NFL players are getting involved with the BLM. It's because recruitment is on the decline and they need to make sure there's another group of kids coming up to take over in 10 years.

This is always how it's been. Men have always filled the physical roles and the dangerous ones.

The Army has also moved away from having the "Shark Attack" on the first day of actual Basic Training. Its a shame as it is a good character building event for younger people that need that kick in the butt to come to grips with what they signed up for. I say this as a guy that has been through Basic twice (1987 Benning and 1999 Jackson).

Marxists want the army diverse so once balkinization is complete, there will be little pushback from soldiers to cull whole populations.

Funny because the military by nature is anti diversity.

Its all about unity and uniformity.

And that's where the fabric of a "uniformed" organization is unraveling. We are starting to focus on the individuals (and our differences) instead of the collective.
