he should 100% divorce her. Stop the bleeding now or it's only going to get worse as he gets older. It was an expensive lesson, but hopefully he never makes that mistake again.

I got divorced in December. My wife had a little over $100k in a checking account I didn't know about until we exchanged financial disclosures.

We have one joint account and discuss all purchases and we are all good. cant imagine how people have split accounts and doesnt cause drama

Setting aside that them being debt free as a couple is a good idea I would classify this as financial abuse. He should consider divorce.

Reason she did this behind his back is becasue she doesnt view them as a team and probably plans on leaving.

This was probably planned by her leading up to a divorce.

She was going to clean him out then leave.

With free open internet, truth is thrown in your face every goddman day so if you do your best to ignore it you're not a victim but a collaborator.

The simp is strong in such kind of man...

Could also be that she is ready to branch swing and decided to start fresh in every possible meaning...once a woman decides to leave a man she basically no longer see him as a human with needs or rights.

How'd she manage to do that? Did the courts touch it?

Honestly nothing wrong with having your own personal account for a future safety nest egg. It sounds bad with her going behind your back, but can you get mad?

We don't even have a joint account. She pays for some stuff, I pay for some. If it gets too much out of whack for a few months, one pays the other the ballpark difference. We did take into account when she couldn't work at full capacity during the small kid phases. We also take into account that I make more than her. We don't discuss any purchases, we buy whatever we want with our money.

We always had full separation of accounts and assets. And even in case of divorce, it would stay like that.
