Happy friday thread...Closing up the cottage edition..

Happy friday ya'll. Going to take advantage of the good weather and long weekend to close up the cottage for the season. Regrettably haven't spent much time there this year, due to a lot of different circumstances, but such is life. Grass is probably taller than your average misc manlet, so I'll be cutting the grass, covering the windows, and other bs tasks to prep for the winter. Weather should be pretty warm, so it should be prime for grillin and chillin. What are you guys up to this weekend? Whatever it is be safe, have fun, and as usual kick a couple back for ya boy.

Oh and happy Thanksgiving weekend to the Canadabrahs

Weather is going to turn tonight around dark. Tomorrow will be blown out so I need to cut my lawn today also. Next week the temps are really going to drop so summer is definitely over. I wanted to try to get some fishing in also but I might be to tired.

Not sure what else I’ve got lined up for Saturday but outdoor activities are pretty much out of the question.

It's weird how summer felt like an eternity and also seemingly was over before I knew it. Quarantine has been strange, especially where I am in one of the most cucked/locked down states in america (PA)

I agree. Quarantine threw everything off. I was off for 10 weeks, and i'm still getting back into the swing of things. Doesn't leave me very optimistic for the winter...I have this feeling old man winter is gonna fuk us for as long and hard as he can.

Happy Friday! I been organizing and cleaning out the house all week, organized my pantry all day yesterday. Today I'm running errands with my Mom and buying Halloween candy to give out. Later probably gonna make some chicken and dumplings.

The year flew by and I was out of work for 3 months myself. I had a blast but seems like I just got back to work yesterday.

We can only buy halloween candy Oct. 29th and after if there is any expectation of there being some left to give out on the 31st

Happy Friday! Am "working from home" today which means I'm on the way to the gym on a caffeine high.

Been dark and gloomy here all week - going to make a big pot of goulash with mashed potatoes and roasted broc-coli tonight.

Planning a very chill weekend.

I feel you on the "not doing much this summer" - we did go away for over a month and it is different in Germany but still...I need to head South and fill my belly up, srs.

Goulash and mashed potatoes HNNNNNG. What kind of meat are you using? I hear you...Head south, vibe out on the beach, get a tan. It really feels like a vacation instead of visiting family and/or friends.

Going with beef chuck (step 4). Probably won't trim much of the fat because i want it to be really rich, lots of beef fat with paprika.

Been a pretty easy Friday so far - I will miss working from home when it finally stops for good, hah.
