Is Better Call Saul worth watching?
Breaking bad is one of my favorite shows
but anytime i tried BCS i watched the first few episodes and couldn't really get into it
i liked Saul in breaking bad but as a minor character in a great plotline story
don't know if i can get invested in a show about a dodgy lawyer

I really enjoy Better Call Saul but I'm extremely lazy about getting into a TV show so if I watch a few episodes of any show and am not enthusiastic about it, I stop watching. I detest it when people are like "just watch the first 18 episodes and then it gets good", nah GTFO kunt.
Guess I'm saying if you don't like it, don't worry about it. My main reason for liking the show is probably "Old Man Badass" Mike, such a good character. Something about watching a grumpy geriatric wearily murdering people amuses me.

it is really slow. like they take 2 episodes worth of writing/ideas and stretch it into a 10 episode season
MinisterOfLust: scooterbrah and Mcfreoko are the two worst posters here.

No just my opinion. Writers felt the need to “make a point” too many times versus entertaining the audience. I probably made it through the first two seasons then I just couldn’t. It’s like we get it, a bunch of bad **** is going to happen to him so in act 1,312 he can unleash hell for the audience payoff you dont need to drag that out for 20 years. And for the record im speculating there. Icouldnt hang in there long enough to reach the payoff.

It's an excellent character driven drama.
It's tone is more serious than Breaking Bad, and it's content is not as exciting. If you're into people getting shot and forging meth empires.. well.. it's not that.
Show is fantastic, and given that you know how many of the character's storylines end, it blows my mind that the show is as engaging as it is.

I got bored of it. Once I got done with the season where Saul's brother kills himself by burning his house down, I think season 3, I just gave up

If you enjoyed breking bad then yes.
But doesnt mean much to a person never seen bb
It is not a show to binge watch. Better to watch a single eo every two days or something

I liked Breaking Bad a lot, and Saul was my favorite character in the show. I was beyond excited for Better Call Saul to start.
Watched 2 seasons, and haven't watched a single episode since. It's slow as hell and really just isn't that good. If I ever get super bored I might go back and watch the rest, but If that happens it will likely just be after the series is finished so I can do it all in one shot.
I wanted to see a lot of Saul Goodman, the scumbag lawyer doing all kinds of shady chit in New Mexico. Better Call Saul is some slow crap about a guy doing mostly legitimate things.

Absolutely. It does get slow, but Saul is enjoyable enough to make it not matter. It makes huge strides later in the series once they're past beating his sad back story into you.
For those who gripe about it "Not being Saul-like", well, you know how the BB universe goes. They really want the story to explain character history, and with Saul being the main focus (along w/Mike) it does that to a larger extent. With that comes a bunch of boring things, but it adds to the reality of it all too. You can't have crazy happenings every week and keep rooted in reality. That said, toward the later (current) series when Lalo arrives the whole series jumps off A LOT. Plenty of shady stuff going on from Saul, for those who were wanting that. Skip to the 2 most recent series if you can't be bothered to invest in the entire story

Season 3 and 4 really pick up from the first two. Still, the first two have a few quality episodes.
Dont quote or click on spoiler if you haven't seen BCS

So many time you’d hope for a climax worthy scene and fuk - nothing happened.
