Ginbrah here, The Botanist is my #1 so far

Hixson was good. I'm actually not a massive fan of Hendricks but that's just me. Brokers London Dry is another good one from recent memory
There's such a range of gins out there. Monkey 47 is supposed to be THE best, chit is like $200 a bottle here

Monkey 47 is made in Germany eh, would be much easier for you to get it. The additional cost here is importing it to Canada
Have you tried it?

drank it a couple of times, it's really not that hard to come by over here
I prefer Hendrick's though but I'm not really that picky
there was a gin hype a couple of years ago and a lot of brands came out but I just stick to Hendrick's and Bombay Sapphire
if it's a matter of import cost isn't the Hendrick's pretty expensive as well over there?

Monkey 47 is the bomb. It's about 50$ where I live but it's a smaller bottle (0.5 instead if 0.7l).

Hendricks is something like $40, similar to the other top end "typical" gins common in liquor stores

I think bombay is better than tanquerey
Luckily i have alocal distillery around me that makes a bunch of liquors and the owner is a big gin fan so I always by the local Gin

The correct answer is Barr Hill, and it’s not close. The standard is fantastic with the slight honey notes, and the aged Tomcat is better than most sipping bourbons. My favorite cocktail is a G&T with the standard and some Fever Tree tonic.
