It's easy to hang out with the wrong crowd..but I legit just want to go out and have a cup of tea and talk. Nothing too drastic.

I left humanity behind in the past when all my old friends ended up degenerates when I was competing for top careers, thin, in shape, working 12hrs a day on the cutting edge of my field. They seem to take it personally when I still think they might hang out in the future. Hope some come around. I have almost nothing in common with many of them since they stopped intellectual development with provincial b.s.

I have a few but it's generally disappointing and isn't truly valuable social capital. Boring married mfers with their boring lives that are mostly over already. Men all subjugated to the whims of their broody and moody wives who lord over them and yet hate them for being submissive and compliant..

i tried hanging out with coworkers and we just went to some gay sushi restaurant and then some homoass boba place after. The whole time we just talked about work or umbrella academy. Man what the ****.

I have a lot of acquaintances and only a few very close friends which is how I prefer it.

I don't really deal with anyone at work due to my position and it's always been a habit of mine to separate work and fun. The biggest issue is that I work a lot by choice so it doesn't leave me a lot of free time.

and besides that most of the stuff that people are interested like social media and celebrities and clothes and **** I have zero interest in. My real friends I do spend time with when I have a chance

I have like 3-5 close, "best friends". I keep my circle pretty small, so everyone else is basically an acquaintance, or a former-friend who has drifted far away from me due to many reasons. One being distance, like they moved to a different city. Or they just found other (probably better) friends to hangout with and forgot about me lol. I try to keep in contact with people, but you can't interest or impress everyone. That's just life. I have a lot of cool hobbies to keep myself occupied with, and sometimes I like doing those hobbies with friends, but I'm usually alone.

I'd say after highschool I lost a bunch of friends. Then during college I made some friends but quickly stopped talking to them after graduating. Like I went to a haunted house last night with a couple friends, but that was the first time we really hung out and probably won't hangout again until something brings us together like that. Likewise, the last time I really hung out with a big group of friends at a restaurant was pre-COVID-19, like 6 months ago lol. I pretty much only see my parents/family/siblings/cousins/family-friends these days, like people I've known my whole life.
