We'll see, my guess is things will have to get worse before they get better.

seems like every decade gets worse
70-80s you could just work an office job and have a kid/wife and live comfortable lmao
music/life was good
now we have to deal with sloots that love attention/cheating culture/attention culture/show off everything someone does culture
music is just awful. i click top 100 on spotify and legit not 1 good song

Maybe 2030s or 40s will be a return to greatness?

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

What made the 90's so special is how it was the last hurrah of the analog era, back before social media and smartphones were a thing. Back when people were more connected to the people around them and not so self-absorbed and caught up in the bullchit happening far away from them with people they have never met before. It was also pre-911 so the world simply felt safer and far less hostile, things were just more simple back then.

Nope, we're probably fukt at this rate. The decline of the US is something most of us saw as utterly impossible. Will be fascinating to witness if it happens in my lifetime.

Back then Sprint was goat cell company, and phones were free. But who was CDMA?

To us and the 90s were goat but i talked to oldheads and they say the 70s were goat to them...but these are guys in their late 40s-50s i think it might be a nostalgic type thing for them
Personally i think 90s was the goat because of the cuff of technology...when we reaped the benefits before it taking over

Guess that means we're vindicated when we say the 90's were an objectively better time to grow up.

It hit us like an atomic bomb because we had 0 preparation for it. We are just starting to understand the effects on society and our brain chemistry. Think of like our grandparents and smoking. They had no clue it was going to eventually kill half of them when they started. It took society 50+ years to adapt to the threat and now only tradies, white trash, and asians smoke.
