Keto diet and staying under X amount of carbs question

It seems like most people say you need to stay under 20 carbs a day, but I have also heard you can go as high as 50. What does the misc say?

Was going to give keto a shot until I found out that milk has a deceptively high amount of carbs, which is something I don't think I want to give up.

Your boyfriend's semen counts as liquid calories so don't worry about adding that to your total carbs
