Eye floaters

Anyone here have them???
I took some post oj meds that start with C and end with D and got floaters


Been like a month and they suck. Anyone else have them?
Will they eventually go away?

never heard of that before but i've always had floaters. very noticeable in certain lighting. pretty sure they will not just go away and we're stuck with them

I have them, theyre awful. They dont go away and mine continue to accumulate. There is a laser procedure you can have to help reduce them but the risk isn't worth it unless they are causing major vision loss

If this is the first time you have had them and you are older, go to a doctor. You could have a torn retina
“Torn retina. Retinal tears can occur when a sagging vitreous tugs on the retina with enough force to tear it. Without treatment, a retinal tear may lead to retinal detachment — an accumulation of fluid behind the retina that causes it to separate from the back of your eye. Untreated retinal detachment can cause permanent vision loss.”

Had them all my lif. Just ignore them, eventually you will get use to it and feel like they aren’t there. Just now that you mention them I see them.

If you get a lot more than usual then go to the ER srs, could be a retina problem.

My dad had this issue and eventually the floater would cover his whole eye so that he'd basically be driving home with one eye.

He had a partially detached retina. I do not recommend the fix he had though if possible. They literally put a small air bubble behind the retina to push it into place. He then had to spend 7 days with his head down so that the bubble would keep the pressure on it so that it would heal back to a normal position. He had to sleep with his head down, eat with his head down, etc. At 6'7 too. Never seen a grown man moan in pain so much. Had to massage his back and neck several times a day.

But no more floaters.

Could just be high blood pressure, or get a deep tissue neck massage. You neck could be extremely tight causing the blood flow to be restricted enough to affect vision.

Have had em since I was about 10 years old. The first one appeared as a black dot. Drove me crazy as a kid, my parents took me to the doctor multiple times only to assure me its ok.

I have a lot more now, the only thing you can do is ignore them. I have read some crazy surgery to get rid of them, no thanks.

Ive had them since early 20s maybe even teens. I need corrective lenses so always get annual exams, always have them look at it but they all say its normal and explained something about some of the tissue in the eye breaks down but thats normal and that my eyes are healthy. They are always there but usually you dont even think about it or notice it. I go through periods every now and then when I think about it and that will drive you nuts.
