Never trained abs crew (Question) - reps
I'm around the 10-12% bodyfat and occasionally drop down to around 8-9% or so. Always had abs / outlines a bit of definition, but not chunky big 3D type abs with deep cuts.
However, i've never trained abs consistently or properly.
If I started training abs properly, like weight/resistance training + hanging leg raises in the gym, and then abs wheel at home, crunches, obliques etc every evening etc..
How long before I notice newbie gains if im already lean, with adequate diet (protein, calories) to gain the muscle?
Like 1-2 months?
I always made that stupid mistake of following that old mantra "abs are made in the kitchen hurrduhh", which is stupid. You wouldn't not train biceps because they look better when leaner. The more muscle you have, the less lean you can be - whilst also looking leaner due to more muscle / size / strength.
I was thinking of doing something like
Rope Cable Crunches (5 sets)
Hanging Leg Raises (Straight leg, then knees up if it gets impossible whilst i build strength. my abs are weak af)
Then at home
Abs wheel 5 sets
Lay down on floor with leg raises
Obliques (Teapots I think theyre called) with DBs each side.
Russian Twist Crunches.

Honestly op it seems to be different for different people. There are some who have deep cuts just from getting their body fat down and others who need to work out heap.
Your exercises look fine. I think you just need to try it and see what works for you.

All I can say is start slow. I don't train abs either and just recently added them to my plan. 5 sets of knee raises and my abs were tighter than a nuns brown patch in a christian male model competition.

Heavy squats built my abs now I just do maintenance with hanging leg exercises
FS/ S/ OHP/ B/ DL
120/150/70/100/180 =KG
I don't go to the gym anymore so above stats are useless.
Only do weighted calastentics in the comfort of my own home!

Never trained them but I was very into calisthenics. I suppose L-sits are direct training and that sets them on fire. Front lever progressions work the serratus a lot.
If your legs are the weak point of your L-sit, don't extent them, just keep the knees bent and put a weight plate on your thighs.

Seems like a crazy amount of volume to start out with.
