Why is dating so exhausting? SRS

Having to go out and meet people isn’t really that big of a deal but this whole back and forth of guessing if someone likes you and then doing the whole date thing where you have to wait 5 dates to sleep with someone.

All the meanwhile they’re either talking to multiple people at once and if you aren’t basically bending over backwards for them then you’ve pretty much lost.

Like, damn when did dating become so expensive and exhausting? Whatever happened to just being chill and enjoying life? Last thing I wanna do is actually put in a lot of effort with so little return

This. Most of my best dates haven't been through Bumble/Tinder. Meeting organically through random interaction at a bar/through friends is by far the best way to date. Whenever I meet girls on the apps, it feels too much like an interview process and it lacks a certain spontaneity that women like. Maybe I'm also just dating the wrong ones, but I've found dates to be way more enjoyable when I meet someone IRL than through the apps.
