Hey misc I was thinking about making a stream on Dlive. Its a streaming website owned by Justin Sunn the chinese guy that owns bittorrent. It uses crypto somehow that makes it decentralized its above my head I dont understand.

Anyway I was thinking about making a stream where once or twice a week I would play music and talk about things and allow people to call in and request music or talk about whatever. Spooky stories or paranormal stuff, cb and ham radio stuff, current events, 2012 theory, timber frame building techniques using lumber from your own property and stone foundation using lime mortar and wattle and daub with lime plaster to basically build a house for very cheap, just random stuff. Is it narcissistic to think I have something that is worth saying or is it okay to make a community of friends to talk online?

There is lots of money to be made in entertainment. You probably have to be really into it over a long haul to make it good enough and gather enough audience and make it work though, but thats goes for anything. Worrying about narcissism sounds like a coping mechanism for insecurity.

I doubt any more than 30 people would ever hang out in my room/ stream there its a smaller platform. I also wouldn't get into controversial politics and things. The video isn't permanent either. You can set it up to not allow replays and it gets taken down when you're done live streaming. I wouldn't be showing my face at first until I get a webcam. It would be just my screen showing or whatever I want to show pictures or videos of and talking.
