Did twitter get hacked?

I think someone broke twitter. It was acting weird. The interface reverted to the 2008 version then went back to normal and now its not working at all.

there was probably an article that didn't make Biden look like the 2nd coming of Christ so they shut the site down

They "shut it down" because some of the hashtags were being hijacked to spread the Hunter Biden stuff and also very bad stuff that implicates Joe and the messiah himself, Obama.

They were shadow banning the hash' that were highlighting said corruption directly prior to this.

They deplatformed a major news outlet too. An outlet they never suppressed before.

Did someone say that? It wasn't hacked and twitter hit a kill switch themselves? Is it broken for you too? It wont load for me and earlier when it did load it wouldn't let me tweet and only showed stuff from 45+ minutes ago. I'm sure the US has kill switches for parts of the internet just like other countries do. I wonder if someone hit the twitter kill switch

Twitter has lost the run of itself over this election. There will be other elections. Don't go the way of tiktok over it.
I still don't get why Trump uses it primarily as his main social media platform.

Ill lay out what I believe happened because I saw on /Pol and elsewhere they were going to push these Hunter Biden findings through official hastags. Couple this with some developments on the Benghazi front involving clinton and Obama and you had these massive red pills being spread like wildfire and you cannot shadowban official #'s without incurring problems so close to an election.

So they chose the option of shutting down to get a handle on things.

You dont deplatform a major news publisher after they release findings on the son of your chosen candidate by accident do you?

Its all a theory but why else would they go totalitarian?
