can you run and carry a ruck in solid time?
have you ever been outside longer than 3 days without showering in comfort??
do you know basic infantry fire and maneuvering skills so you dont get capped by cletus the gulf war vet?
do you know basic field craft skills? basic winter survival skills?
do you know how to hunt, cure and process meat from a kill?
have you been to shooting courses and know how to actually shoot or do you just spend all your money on gear for the flat range instead of training ?

Yeah it is tough to come up with scenarios where bragging about living in Illinois makes sense. Personally I don't even like driving through that state.
