You are just taking your good ole dog out on a walk and then a BLM protester walks by you and decides to kick your dog. What do you do?

Attacking my dog is attacking my family. I have the right to protect my family. So while I will not intentionally kill them, I will fire a weapon I use to protect myself and family until the attacker stops. No matter how many rounds that may be

I know who I am. And after all these years, there’s a victory in that.

what is the law on something like that? like if somebody didn't necessarily attack you but someone or something else and you were with them or saw it, are you allowed to attack back?
cause if you're able to retaliate, omg.
even if you're not i'd still do something
cause if you're able to retaliate, omg.
