Why doesn't outer space suck away the atmosphere?

I google vacuum cleaner suction pressure and it says they do 20kPa, which means the total pressure inside the vacuum is 100kPa - 20kPa = 80kPa

If we say space has a pressure of 0.000001kPa (it is zero, according to ScIEnCe), that means the pressure is 8000000x stronger

So when you suck ur nipple up a vacuum cleaner tube, the pressure in outer space is 8000000x stronger than that

So how does a vacuum cleaner lift air, but out space pressure can't?

You can't have negative pressure..

SciEncE tells us pressure is particles colliding with a wall. So when you go down to zero particles, that's a vacuum/pressure of zero

I looked up the pressure of a soda can and its 200kPa, so 200 inside and 100 outside means it's 100kPa... In fantasy-space-land a space suit would be at 100 inside and 0 outside... So a flexible fabric has to withstand the same pressure as an aluminum soda can... Idk about that

Gravity causes pressure with depth:



The atmosphere is no different. That's why the higher you go, the less air there is. Now space has 0 pressure, but the pressure caused by gravity is higher.

Because the earth's molten iron core gives us our magnetosphere.. However our atmosphere is slowly disappearing and the magnetic fields have been rapidly changing as of late. It's always up in the air when we will all meet our doom. Best not to think about it.
