Metal bed frame vs wooden slats which one is better?

will rep for answers.

I read that the wooden slats are less stable and have a tendency to cave in time. But i also read that the metal bars are more prone to noise.
I'm on a box spring right now (a chitty single size) so i have no experience with either.

Any recommendations?

Both are an upgrade over the box spring imo. The bottom one looks similar to one I bought on Amazon and I like it a lot, bought a memory foam mattress for it, wish I had gone tempurpedic tho. What makes the most noise on mine were the bolts holding it together, so I just tightened them up some more repeatedly and haven't had an issue since.

I use a metal one exactly like the top pic.

Have had 0 issues with it.

If you like to fuuuuuuck you have to run to Home Depot and at minimum get particle board to put on top of either option.

If you're not sleeping on a solid, hardwood bed made with top grade quality wood it's over for you. Might aswell sleep on a pissed sidewalk
