Bloating at any age is the biggest mistake you can do

I’m ganna be lean till the day I die

Or atleast sub 16-18% bodyfat

And I’m talking about true 18% body fat. Most people still got abs at TRUE 18%

But most people think 18% is 12-13% now days

Can confirm. I dun goof'd and covid bloated at 28 years old. I'll most likely have to spend the remainder of my 20s getting to a respectable level of leanness. Feelsbadman.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

Great point! Ive never thought of that. Obv being ripped is best aesthetics. Ands 20s age lends into that in everyway, such as u said peak metabolism.

As a bloatmaxer i will say tho. Bloatmaxing iz best for selfdefense ala whoopin ass. And u always gonna need peak strength as a man. Its a heavy decision

Why would you want to bloat? Isn't it a thing where once a bloat, your body will quicker bloat again when you have gotten lean?

You are right. Bulking while you have the perfect hormones and highest potential to build muscle is the worst time to be perma gaining.

Rather leave it to when your hormones are down, and you are a single 35 year old to start losing abs and gain marginal mass in relative terms.

Staying lean after 26 is really tough

your metabolism slows down and you have to count calories to not bloat. I’m 155 pounds at 5’11, was 178 pre covid. My arms especially triceps are just as big as they were at 178. My chest deflated a lot though and my bench numbers went down about 20 pds. But idc as my face is lean af and that’s what sloots care about

There is a threshold as well as exponential dose response relationship. You need to be actually overweight for you to care about the effect. Talking 25%+ BF. Also training hard while bulking offsets most of this, and you can see evidence of this in most defensive lineman and strongman who tend to have high musclemass and higher fat. Even Sumo wrestlers dont have much hormonal issues due to their fat.

Beyond that you gain fat and muscle, and lose fat and muscle at different rates. From my personal experience if you are 10-15% BF the ratio is about
1:1 Fat and Muscle gain. So every 1kg fat you gain you gain 1kg muscle unless you are really making some bad decisions.
On the other hand, fat loss and muscle loss is more like 4:1. For every 4kgs of fat lost you might lose 1kg of muscle.

The speed for both is about the same. It takes about 4 times longer to gain muscle and fat than it takes to lose. So basically you can cut down in 1 month with minimal muscle loss for 4 months of bulking. Which means you will in nearly any timeframe be both bigger and leaner than most other people who did a conservative approach.

That is true, but why not get fluffy and huge while you are young. You are unlikely to meet the your wife before 25 unless you get lucky. So might as well use your youth to get as big as possible, rather than struggling while you are older and have more other commitments.

Look at most of the biggest guys, they got the majority of their mass before age 25-30, then from there very slowly added more mass while getting leader (also for natties, leanness is an older man's game. Almost every high level natural agrees on this).

This. I noticed zero difference going from 20s to 30s to 40s. It‘s not that metabolism slows down, it‘s eating more and moving less as you get older.

It’s actually smart to make the most gains when your hormones are optimal in your 20s and you simply can’t do that in a deficit. Once you get older you won’t need to train as frequently because have maximize your potential and your cut phase won’t be as drastic because of muscle memory

Bloating is playing checkers in a chess game

20-30 is the easiest to keep the lean, or bulk to a respectable amount of weight(5, 10lbs)

If you 35 ish tryna lean, gonna be harder
