Still no AR-15's at local gun shop

Stopped by a small gun shop in BFE Texas. The girl working there said they expect to get a lot of returns on AR-15's after the election, but nobody has any right now.

Now I'm sad.

Went to the local gun shop here in middle GA last week looking for a Tactical shotgun, they had handful, a bunch of no-names and way overpriced decent ones. They had about 30 AR's.....but all were at least $300-$400 more than usual.

Completely out of 9mm ammo too.

Prior to the 16 election and after the election was the best time to buy this. Really no sympathy for people who waited unless they’re newly 18/21.

Colt 6720/6920s were $750. 556 was $380 for mag tech, 9mm was $150.

I'm kicking myself for not buying one back in march and stocking up on ammo.

Walls are bare and will be for years srs. Are the margins that small in the industry? Why does no one want to get into guns and ammo manufacturing to fill some of this crazy demand we see every few years?

I think there are two HK's on that wall + a mini-14. I am surprised someone has not bought them.

The margins are terribly small on AR15s. PSA put the screws to everyone when they released a reliable AR15 for under $500 and while on sale you could get for around $350. They're about to do the same to the polymer pistol market with what is 95% a gen 3 Glock for $300. They were supposed to release it in March but with all the corona stuff they were delayed until last month. They sold out their entire stock in 8 mins.

There are too many uncertainties in the AR market. You have politicians talking about banning them completely and with the margins being as small as they are companies are scared to get into the game. If Trump wins expect to find $350 freedom series PSA ARs around March

My local shop has tons. lmao

Glocks for days. All kinds of ARs low end to high end...idk how they do it. But they can get you whatever you want when it comes to guns. Ammo was a different story.
