Learning new skills and building things . My gym is an ongoing project going threw many upgrades as I get the money and time .
I have a lot of money tied up in tools , as I think I’m addicted to buying them .
Bought a 4x5 cnc router table that still needs to be assembled, an 80watt cnc laser engraver/ cutter , and numerous other toys/tools .
It wasn’t always this way ,and I guess as you get older your hobbies change , as in my case my body is in no condition to off road dirt bike anymore .
Spent many years first biking and have never been the same mentally since I quit . There’s just nothing like being in full body armour and dodging trees on trails at high speeds .
I swear it is the best outlet you can do for yourself mentally.
I also loved my 84GMC truck and fabricating car audio systems . Unfortunately I sold due to not enough room in my shop . Still miss that dam truck
6 inch suspension lift , 4 speed standard , 3.73 gears , 35” Mud T/As

I prefer the stock look , but like to detail underneath

Part of my stereo build . Made the speaker pods myself , including the lit led ring

Still more to come , but ran out of good weather in order to weld up the rest of my lat machine build .
Those yellow squat stands are no longer there , as I’ve taken a new full cage and broken it down into separate squat stands.
Will be updating pics this weekend of the recent upgrades

My gym shares half my woodshop. I am building another house in a few years and a goal is a dedicated gym.
Have full steel dumbbell set to 80 lbs, power cage with lat pull down, and landmine attachment, Olympic weights and a bunch of bars, kettlebells to 44kg, adjustable bench with a few attachments, welded up a pull sled a while back, flipping tire, keg, treadmill, and cyclocross bike on a trainer.
Not as fancy as your setup tho. Mirin

I'll tell you, I've made a lot of poor life choices, when I dropped out of high school I was stuck in a house and I collected books on japanese language, I mean I srsly studied for probably 8 months, to this day I can still read hiragana, katakana, and I'd say I can recognize 50-100 kanji. It's been years, I've been in the military for a short term and shortly after spent about 4 years in prison, as a result, I'm now a chit construction worker, everyday I think I'm going to miss a step and fall to my death. But, all I want really, and tbh I don't even share this, but I've hit some crown pretty heavy tonight, I just want to go to Japan, man, even just for a visit. I'd love to immerse myself in the language and culture, visit the bath houses and the mountains, shinto priests, Tokyo, of course. Idk, man, it'd be a long hard journey, but I've been picking the chit up a bit in my off time, lord willing, I'll figure it out. The irony of it all is my brother has been in okinawa as a marine for the last two years.
