are black guys bigger in america?

I hope this isn't perceived as racist in any way, because it's not.

But are black guys bigger in america? I ended up in the weird section of youtube today where all my videos were french content creaters (i think) and i noticed all the black guys were pretty average sized.

Maybe it's regional, but that's not the case where i live. Is this a byproduct of slavery? My father told me that "selective breeding" was common a few hundred years ago.

Again, genuine curiosity, this isn't a race bait in any way

part black checking in of foreign American parents. Its not breeding. Black Americans that are multi gen in this country typically look to be West African. Black American is a pretty mixed thing and White people probably tend taller on Average. A area I travel to is mostly East African recent immigrants and they are small.

I'd have to some research on the subject, but I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit. Also, I have seen studies on kids in inner cities developing faster. Like, the body biologically does what it needs to do survive. Dudes who go to prison have higher test too, from being in the prison environment

Ok I studied genetic genealogy in school and I'm gonna give you a srs answer, OP. Blacks of West African descent (the vast majority of American blacks & victims of the transatlantic slave trade) are larger because they have high percentages of fast twitch muscle fibers. This is due to a number of factors, primarily the sickle cell trait. One genetic variant of this trait causes the cells to sickle in times of stress (not all the time like Sickle Cell Disease) and is protective against malaria, which was rampant in West Africa. Fast twitch muscle fibers are less dependent on oxygen, something that people with even one copy of the gene struggle to carry through their bodies if they're under any stress, so West Africans tend to have more of them. These are the muscle fibers that respond to hypertrophy the best. East Africans and other Sub-Saharan Africans don't have this trait because malaria was less prevalent, so they tend to be much smaller.

TLDR: Yes, but it has nothing at all to do with slavery or testosterone.

Black americans always seemed bigger than the africans we have over here (east, central and west). Probably brought the strongest people over to the new world, or the strongest survived and reproduced.
