Rate my cabin in the woods
-Op is allowed to have a can on crown land on trapline
-op has been working on cabin for a while
-cabin is still not finished, but after a few things will be liveable. Siding this winter
-raised bed is for couch underneath and coffee table
-accessible by boat, or can walk in a couple miles
-gravity water system
-12v solar for lights and two 280 watt solar panels
- built for not much money, as op gets lots of free chit.

Pretty cool OP. I know its still a work in progress, but Looks much more liveable from the inside than outside.
Do you actually “own” it though if its on crown land?

I'd love a cabin like that in the woods. Bigfoot could probably break in pretty easily though and rape your angus in the middle of the night though.

Strong 9.5/10 cabin. With a little TLC and once you complete installation of the wood-fire stove, you'll be set for the end of the world.

I own the cabin, not the land. Work permit for as long as I have the trapline.
When I quit for whatever reason, ie I am 90 yes old, I can sell the cabin to another trapper. Or I can slide it out with an excavator and barge it away

Mirin bro srs, love the finished hue of the wood in the interior walls and ceiling. Also props for putting that window right where you have the table, now you can mire the woods while having breakfast. I havent seen before the water tanks located in the inside but I guess that's due to the feezing weather right?
What kind of finishing are you thinking for the exterior walls?
Also if you put a nice rug/carpet or something like that inside it's going to give it a lot of warmth
