Any of my misc brahs into the Silent Hill game series?

Silent Hill 2 has always been one of my favorite games. That game is also the reason I initially purchased a keyboard and taught myself how to play as an adolescent. I learned all of the piano songs in that game by ear. Silent Hill 2 is also one of the only games along with Mother 3 and recently, Red Dead Redemption 2, that made me get emotional as I was playing it. It's such a heartbreaking story and it's the perfect blend of melancholia and psychological horror.

Anyways, just checking to see if anyone else is into Silent Hill. It's really a shame they canceled Silent Hill5. That would have been a great one to play.

I've been listening to these compilations of relaxing Silent Hill music on Youtube lately as I'm working or painting. Thought I'd share one of these compilations with everyone.

Love them all until I stopped buying new Playstations. Still go back and play 1-3 on the PS2 when I get bored. And yes, the music is amazing.

Silent Hill developers: Ok guys, our goal is to scare the crap out of some kids! We are going to mentally torture them until they finish the game! Pitch the craziest, scariest and most fuked up ideas you can think of lets fukin discuss them

OP's town newspaper:****gy kid breaks stereotypes and learns to play the piano by ear after playing a videogame he liked too much. Claims to like the dick too

lmao jk bro but that was not what i was expecting entering a SH thread
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

I think so. I remember having played around with the demo on PS3. It looked creepy as hell with the weird crying fetus in the sink. That's the one I was referring to having been canceled. It was to be Silent Hill5

played the fourth one first back when I was like 10 or some sh!t and it scarred me for life, definitely the scariest game I've played to date

finished the second one a few weeks ago actually, left me depressed as fuk for days

homecoming was meh, and I can't deal with ps1 graphics nowadays to play the first one, might as well watch a "game movie" version of it on YT or some sh!t

Ahh ok. I never got a chance to play that which sucks. I would definitely pay for a well done remaster of 1-3 on PS4/5 though. I wasn't a huge fan of Silent Hill 4 or Downpour.

I played only the first one (1999) and loved it. I wanted to play the series but at the time Diablo I & II has online community/Guild and I was busy posting their forums.

The nightmare school stage was the most scary scene to me.

Also I love the movie and S. King's novella "The Mist" (1980) and the movie (2008) .

They all offers more unreal ******ce than Resident Evil games/movies and I love it.
