Why no more explorers?
They tell us as kids "the Earth is figured out there's nothing left to explore"
Meanwhile go on Overlord-Google Earth and zoom in on the ocean and admire the CGI/lack of photographs
Why is it crazy to think the Earth is flat? Is it more crazy to believe it than the government is telling everyone "stay in your homes, do your 9-5 job, and die"...
They don't want people exploring like before so they invent the idea "everything is discovered, there are no mysteries on Earth, stay at home"
Instead of people being in Awe "man I wonder what's beyond the ice wall in Antarctica 5,000 miles away"... They think "wow we're stuck on a ball"
