We´re living in a ghost universe (don´t read this)
I´m starting to see it now. I have heard tales about this universe being a ghost universe. There are no people alive, only ghost stuff moving about. There is no proof of a planet called earth. As I´m typing this, all I can see is my room. I don´t know if anything exist beyond this room. How could there be other people out there, billions of them around the globe, existing right now in different locations? It sounds crazy, just as crazy as the, nothing exist beyond this room belief.
But I can´t even know that this room I´m sitting in exist either. I don´t experience the things aorund me directly. My brain sits in a lightproof box, receiving sensory data from the supposed outside world. How can I trust my eyes and this data to be true? Is something real just because I can perceive it? How could it be that this book in front of me is there and not here? Is there an outside world and an inside world?
No one has experienced the world around us directly. We all experience it indirectly. As I´m sitting here, the belief that something else exist besides this moment, is just that, a belief. As soon as I start to make up these thoughts about the world other than what is being experienced right now, I´m entering speculation mode. I´m just widely guessing and constructing an imaginary world around me, because thats what I´ve always done.
I don´t know that any other people exist around me right now, there is simply no hard evidence of that right now. Rumor has it, that there is a world full of life and people out there, but from where I´m sitting in my room, I simple don´t see it. How could I be sure the world hasn´t collapsed around me from a black hole sucking everything in, while I was taking a chit on the toilet? I can´t
All there is that exist is this moment in front of me, in front of who? In front of nowhere? This thing being experienced right now, what is it?
If you pay close enough attention, you might see it. Are we living in a ghost universe with no "real people" in it? Something is moving me in that direction. I don´t do anything anymore, things just happen. There will soon be no me left, I´m fading every second. When I bought groceries at the store earlier today, the people around me seemed barely real. Just ghost people existing in a haunted quiet ghost universe, where nobody exist. No personalites, no dreams, no people that steer the human body. Maybe no human body it self, who the fock knows. I can sense it in moments when I´m aware. This universe is haunted, nothing has substance. I don´t have substance, you don´t have substance and this book in front of me has no substance. It´s all an projection of the mind
What is the essence of me? The real essence. My brain or body is not the essence of what I am, is it? If I cut my finger off or lose brain cells, does a part of me dissapear? Am I simply the experience it self? If I remove all my thoughts, desires and emotions. Do I cease to exist in that moment? I´m not even trying anymore like I used to, I´m still fading away. I think it´s too late for me to turn back, I will soon no longer be a human on planet earth. I´m fading away and so are you
I see it now, my whole life has been built on wild speculations coming from "my own mind". My mind has been constructing this reality out of nowhere. For the first time in my life I´m starting to draw a line between facts and fiction.

I always thought I was destined to great things like success and fame. That somehow I was special. Now, I realize that I was destined to something way different than that. My fate is sealed.

There is no such thing as people posting on something called the misc. It´s a belief
I´m past the point of no return now. It´s no longer possible to live a "normal life"

You've identified the distinction between the Self and the Body.We can remove your arm, and it wouldn't impact your Self.
If you feel out-of-control, or like nothing truly matters, then you simply need to reconnect with the world. You're a physical entity living in a physical realm. Your wishes, drives, desires are all internalized in your brain. If you want to feel the consequence of your existence, simply act in a positive way and watch the outcome materialize. Help someone else, build a shed with your neighbor, help wash their car -- you'll realize nothing is preordained and you can have an impact.

I believe you're trying to articulate a fear here. A fear that nothing matters.Am I right?

It´s not fear from my perspective. I´ve been aware of this for 7 years or something, so I´m very used to the idea. I´m very used to the idea of no meaning and no self, so it doesn´t scare me. There is no underlying meaning, but you can give meaning to what you want. There is meaning and there is no meaning at the same time. It´s simply too late for me to turn back. I don´t identify as a human being on planet earth anymore. It is what it is

If I were to ask you to describe your inner monologue, what would it look like.
To me, life is what you make it. I have to disagree with you on the basis of "life lacking a meaning." Our freedom is to articulate what our life's purpose will be, but it's my experience that life very much has meaning. It's intrinsic and the result of contemplation of the Self. Anything less than that is ultimately externally sourced (think inauthentic), and should be scrutinized as a result.

You’re right, im definitely not reading that essay
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.
-I'd rather live life saying "I failed" than "I could have"
