Biggest pinecone moment of my life but hopefully it can be a teachable ( you can call me stupid if you want and I definitely deserve it but not to worry I'm well aware how dumb I am given the consequences of my actions) mods please don't remove this even tho it has nothing to do with lowball there's a lot of stupid car guys in this forum Wich is the audience that needs to hear this story most: So this may seem like common sense but the severity of it may not be . So we all know not to drink antifreeze like no **** , but I picked up a bottle where the first word was "lemon" so I assumed it was lemonade or something, I took 1 sip and spat it out instantly so I actually ingested only a few milliliters given that I spat out the sip it was just whatever residual amount from it being in my mouth and some miniscule amount probably went down. My throat, after all I recall having heard serious alcoholics drank that **** on purpose so rather than call 911 I washed out my mouth ,made myself throw up twice ( Wich ur probably not supposed to do but not one of my 12 ( yes 12) drs said I was wrong to do so, so idrk ) and went about my day thinking that was stupid and nasty but I'd be fine ...how wrong I was. Antifreeze contains something called ethylene glycol Wich I know is some kind of alcohol but unnown to me it's a super potent super toxic alcohol compound. in about 10 seconds it was 4 or 5 days later , basically I blacked out , lost my phone %90 of the contents of mymy wallet expect my DL & healthcard , my car keys and even my car. (Wich was actually definitely for the best because although I didn't realize it I was essentially **** faced ) a freind found my car parked on a random side street near his house , surprisingly Without a single ticket despite it being there for days , unlocked full of valuables in a bad neighborhood w/ nothing missing. Stranger yet it was about 10 km from where a relative found my keys but seeing as I'm missing 4 days of memory who knows what I did, I do remember finding the same car as mine in a store parking lot and I thought my friend who I wasn't even with btw locked me out and went somewhere with the keys and it was freezing out and I just had a Hoodie so out of necessity I got into the backseat of the car next to "mine" until he came back but obviously I Was in for quite the wait lol.

Naturally I passed out and When the owner came back to find someone in alseep in his car he called 911 , personaly idve done alot worse but I got lucky . So cops and ems woke me up and because I truly believed my story and luckily the car I thought was mine was still there the cops believed me to and because I was in the back I obviously wasn't trying to steal the car or anything in it just wanted to Stay alive in the cold they didn't arrest me, thought I was just normal drunk and instead took me to er , they let me sleep it off took bloodwork saw no drugs or alcohol so they were gonna discharge me right there. Now I thought I told triage about the antifreeze like instantly but according to them I only told a dr after I woke up 7 hours after I got there and thank God I did otherwise I'd be a goner if they let me leave when I woke up. so they took another blood test and because. It hadn't began metabolizing by my first one after ,my second one boom my renal toxicity level had gone up 6 fold ( so % 500 over the safe amount) basically my Kindneys started shutting down. So I was rushed into ICU and started on dialysis ( that's where they make an incision into your neck, and Suter a a tube in there that hooks up to a machine that takes. Out all your. Blood , cleans it and puts it back. needless to say it's no basket of peaches , they did it every day for 4 days from 4-7 hours each time and every day my kidneys were failing more and more Wich the dr says it's normal but for it to work you have to piss And if you can't that means dialysis isnt working and your kindneys can no longer produce urine are kaput. I hadn't peed for 4 days so being a very rare blood type the odds of transplant were slim to none. My parents already gave eachother one years I ago due to that ****in **** cancer years ago I and I'm an only child.
AIas I started to have people come say their goodbyes and unfortunately with covid ur only allowed 1 visitor per day, they can't leave and come back and they can only stay a couple hours . I'm only 25 and although sometimes I feel like I don't wanna deal with life anymore as most people do ,I don't actually want to die or hurt myself , I love lots of people And life even if they both suck at times. ( among a few other pretty bad embarassing chronic illnesses I won't mention, I also have trigeminal neuralgia the most painful contidion known to medicine , it's basically like having the worst toothache x50 In every tooth while getting tasered in the jaw most of the day so 11/10 pain about 10 hours a day and no real kind of sleeping or eating and it can be triggered by almost nothing ; light breeze on your face , a bright light , shaving to close etc ) but through mindfulnesss , a fantastic medical team, great friends , a business

And a boatload of meds I cope very well and believe it or not im mostly a very happy friendly kid with so much skill and potential and it was beyond dauntingly terrifying that I very possibley could die over such a seemingly trivial stupid mistake. But 4 days later I PEED!!! it was very little but enough to show my body was actually trying. So I got moved out of ICU to the medicine unit ( still a serious high floor but most people aren't dying here like up in ICU. So 3 more days of dyalisis and no pee kidneys testing worse everyday. It was looking like I'd live but on lifelong dyalisis with a catheter Wich I will refuse till I'm literally forced to Wich was looking like 2mrw or the day after so still super bummed and if that was the case on top of my medical History a tube in my dickhole and neck 247 would almost certainly put me (or anyone in that situation)way over the limit and I seriously would most likely want to end it for real Wich is so hard and surreal for me to imagine actually thinking/doing but I'm sure after a week like that I'd be there because that sounds like no kind of life at all to me , And then tonight it happens, I PISSED LIKE A RACEHORSE!!!!! Wich means it's finally working and I'll most likely hopefully be able to go home this week!! Maybe not, but for sure this month , but lifelong dialysis and the dick tube are out the window! It's all kinda funny now that I know it will pass but it goes to show how dangerous and toxic that stuff is so if you or anyone around you accidentally ingests even the smallest amount please call 911 immediately because it's very possible you'll black out for days and do a lot more damage. It may not be the same risk /reaction for everyone but Learn from my stupid ass, your life's not worth the risk and that really is what's at stake plus wtv stupid **** you might do while blacked out can have serious consequences that can affect the rest of you life I still don't know now most of what happened while I was blacked out just bits and pieces of hear from people but im basically sending out mass apology texts Wich is super embarassing.
