Help me troubleshoot my computer audio REPS FOR LIFE

One day I was watching youtube, paused the vid and tried resuming the video a day later. No audio.

I googled a workflow and ended up deleting my driver (i think) in hopes it would reinstall but it never did.

This is getting really frustrating because i don't know what to do. The built-in troubleshooting yields no results. If i click the speaker icon in the bottom right, I use to have three options and now there are only two. I've tried updating my drivers and i think i've done it correctly.. Can I just wipe my comupter and start over? Would that work?

I am prepared to troubleshoot with you guys and we can take it to PMs if the thread gets congested.

Help me fix this and I rep you every time i see you moving forward. Will add u to my sig to encourage others to reach out to you for help

You need to visit the OEM site for your PC and download your audio drivers again and reinstall them. Since you uninstalled your audio device from your device manager and deleted the drivers, it has no drivers to use to deliver playback. 99% of the time, Windows Update won't find drivers for you.

So a friend made my PC and all i can really tell you is that it runs windows 10 and i can play all my games at high settings hehe.
How can i determine which OEM site i should be on?

Check the oil. If it's too low you may have blown a rod
